Description

A fabulous vintage circa 1950s structured pillbox hat featuring a crisp red and white color palette, dramatic rose embellishment and whimsical dotted veil.

The cylindrical crown is constructed in tightly coiled white woven straw accented with narrow horizontal bands of vivid red. The clean striped design gives the hat a wonderfully graphic mid-century look.

At the side, a large dimensional red fabric rose with deep green leaves creates a dramatic focal point. Sculptural loops of coordinating white ribbon edged in red rise above and sweep across the flower, adding height and movement to the otherwise tailored silhouette.

A generous white open-mesh veil surrounds the hat and falls over the face. Scattered throughout the netting are tiny fuzzy red dots, creating a playful polka-dot effect that beautifully coordinates with the red striping and floral trim.
