A beautifully distinctive vintage circa 1940s hat fashioned in rich burnt orange velvet and decorated with unusual black passementerie-style drop ornaments around the perimeter.

The hat features a close-fitting structured silhouette with a softly rounded crown surrounded by a broad raised band. The clean architectural construction allows the luxurious velvet and unusual decorative trim to become the focal points of the design.
