An exceptional vintage Schiaparelli half hat dating to the 1950s, lavishly embellished with metallic bugle beads, sequins and sparkling rhinestones over lustrous ivory satin.

This sculptural close-fitting design curves across the crown with open sides extending downward toward the ears, creating the dramatic silhouette associated with mid-century half hats and cocktail millinery. The ivory satin provides a beautiful backdrop for an elaborate symmetrical botanical motif worked in dark silver-tone bugle beads. Individual leaves are accented with small faceted rhinestones, while dimensional clusters of champagne-gold sequins create shimmering floral and berry-like accents across the crown.

The lower edge is finished with rows of metallic sequins, beads and rhinestones, giving the entire hat remarkable sparkle from every angle.
