An extraordinary vintage Christian Dior Chapeaux cocktail hat featuring an exuberant combination of vivid hot pink textured fibers, multicolored feathers and sparkling faceted beads and crystals.

The structured close-fitting crown is covered in a dramatic fuzzy, open-textured pink material and lavishly embellished with layered feather motifs in black, teal blue, turquoise, pink, rust and brown. Scattered throughout are faceted teardrop and round beads in shades of pink, smoky purple, blue and red, creating flashes of color and sparkle from every angle.

Rather than using large sweeping plumes, the feathers have been clipped, layered and arranged into small floral and petal-like formations across the crown. Combined with the jewel-like embellishments and saturated color palette, the effect is wonderfully theatrical while remaining distinctly couture.
