A beautifully preserved vintage 1950s navy blue wool felt hat featuring a softly rounded crown, narrow turned brim and an unusual sculptural spray of metallic berries and black leaves.

Made from 100% wool felt, the hat has a classic mid-century silhouette with a smooth domed crown and narrow brim that curves gently upward at the sides. The exceptionally dark navy blue reads almost black in some lighting, giving the hat an elegant and versatile appearance.

A wide matching grosgrain ribbon encircles the crown and forms a tailored bow at the side. The focal point is a dimensional botanical ornament composed of lustrous gunmetal-silver berries clustered along dark stems with small black fabric leaves.
