A striking vintage circa 1950s felt hat in an exceptionally deep inky navy, featuring a beautifully sculpted crown and dramatic folded brim accented with sparkling rhinestones.

The hat is formed from smooth, densely finished felt with a softly rounded crown that sits close to the head. Around the lower portion, wide sections of felt have been folded, wrapped and overlapped to create an architectural brim treatment that gives the otherwise minimalist design remarkable dimension.

The folded brim rises at the sides and sweeps across the front of the hat, creating a flattering face-framing silhouette. Additional folded and tucked sections at either side introduce subtle asymmetry and emphasize the sculptural construction.

Small individually placed clear rhinestones punctuate the dark felt along the folded brim and side details. Rather than overwhelming the design with embellishment, the scattered stones provide restrained points of sparkle that become particularly effective against the nearly black navy background.
