The hat is formed from smooth, densely finished felt with a softly domed crown that creates a wonderfully sophisticated asymmetrical profile when worn. Rather than sitting like a traditional flat beret, the crown has been shaped with additional volume toward the back and sides, allowing the hat to sit low and slightly tilted on the head in classic mid-century fashion.

At the side is a tailored felt bow with elongated, sculptural tails. A small cluster of creamy faux seed pearls embellishes the center and upper portion of the bow, providing just enough contrast and ornamentation against the nearly black navy felt.
