Vintage 1950s–1960s Triple Strand Green & Champagne Beaded Necklace – Faux Pearl Art Glass Textured Beads
Description
A wonderfully dimensional vintage circa late 1950s to 1960s triple-strand statement necklace featuring an eclectic mix of luminous green, champagne, ivory, silver-grey and softly iridescent beads.
This necklace is all about texture. The three graduated strands combine classic faux pearls with frosted and textured beads, irregular baroque-style beads, smooth sculptural beads, marbled glass-like beads and smaller coordinating spacers. The palette ranges from pale celadon and pearly ivory to mossy green, smoky silver and champagne, creating a sophisticated tonal effect.
Especially striking are the oversized irregular beads with swirling, almost molten-looking surfaces. Their organic shapes contrast beautifully with the traditional round faux pearls and heavily textured sugar-style beads. Small decorative metal bead caps add another layer of vintage detail.
The three strands nest together beautifully when worn, creating a substantial statement at the neckline while the soft, muted palette keeps the overall look elegant rather than overly formal.
A distinctive example of mid-century costume jewelry and an especially versatile piece for collectors who love unusual bead combinations, layered necklaces and sophisticated vintage color palettes.
