Vintage 1920s–1930s Style Black Faceted Glass Bead Flapper Necklace – Long Hand-Knotted Sautoir

Description

A striking vintage long black beaded necklace with beautifully faceted beads individually knotted on black cord, creating the dramatic sparkle and fluid drape associated with early 20th-century flapper jewelry.

The necklace features a continuous strand of uniform black faceted beads, each cut with multiple surfaces that catch and reflect the light. Against the deep jet-black color, the faceting creates subtle flashes of brilliance without the necklace becoming overly ornate.

Each bead appears individually knotted, an especially attractive detail that gives the necklace flexibility and creates a tiny separation between the beads. The exceptionally long length allows it to be worn as a single dramatic strand, doubled into two layers or wrapped into three shorter graduated layers as shown.

The simple endless-style construction and long sautoir silhouette are strongly evocative of 1920s and 1930s Art Deco and flapper jewelry. No clasp is visible, allowing the necklace to slip easily over the head and be styled in multiple ways.

Elegant, versatile and wonderfully wearable, this is the kind of vintage black necklace that transitions effortlessly from authentic period styling to a sophisticated modern wardrobe.
